Op zondag 4 juni was het feest in en rond de Antonius Abtkerk in Wijchen. Zes kinderen die elke maand naar de Engelse mis komen, deden hun eerste communie. Na afloop vierden zij met hun gezinnen en iedereen die naar de kerk was gekomen feest in de tuin naast de kerk.
On June 4th six children from the English Mass received their first communion. They prepared for this by taking part in our Apostelen 2.0 program. Now it was their great day. The church was beautifully decorated, the children wore their best clothes and people had come from far to celebrate together.
After Mass there was a party in the garden next to the church. People had brought delicious food to share. Everyone who had attended Mass was welcome to join in the festivities. Even the weather was perfect.
